Idea: To produce numerous events throughout the year that provide networking opportunities for members, build a bridge between local businesses and the community at large, and enhance the Chamber’s visibility in the northern Pima County area.
Oversight: Events Committee
· Committee open to all Chamber members
· Have a Chair and Co Chair position
· Meet on a monthly basis – location to be determined (there may be additional meetings for specific events)
· Determine Events
· Determine Speakers for Breakfasts
Purpose Statement: Provide innovative, quality events by engaging members in the planning process. Identify and foster relationships for potential sponsorship opportunities. Seek to optimize attendance by determining new avenues for member participation.
Key Programs/Projects:
· Implement event evaluation process with goals and objectives for all events
· Provide communication and networking opportunities
· Provide quality events for members with strong networking opportunities
· Plan, produce and evaluate a minimum of 11 Breakfasts, 11 Luncheons, 1 Holiday Luncheon, 11 Mixers, Pinnacle Awards, Golf Tournament, State of the Town Luncheon and Gala
· Develop Marketing plan for all events
· Explore new options for Mixers
· Plan new Chamber events
